Who we are
Wonder-Land Christian Preschool and Daycare exists to provide safe, affordable, nurturing care in a Christian environment for the Carmichael area. We are a ministry of American River Community Church, and very soon, will be changing our name to more closely reflect that connection, to American River Christian Preschool and Daycare. We have provided quality Christian early education for over 50 years.
Where we come from
Wonder-Land Christian Preschool and Daycare was birthed out of a strong desire to assist the many two-income families that were prevalent in the post-World War 2, post-Korean War era with adequate Christian care for their children. As society continued to change, the need for this care has only grown greater. We are greatly indebted to the founder, Elsie Hall, and her daughter, Nancy, for their far-reaching vision!
Where we're headed
Very soon, Wonder-Land Christian Preschool and Daycare will be changing its name, and getting its own website! Even more exciting, WLS will be accepting 18 month olds (previously, we were only able to care for 2 years and up). We are also expanding our hours of care, and adopting a more equitable tiered-pricing system. Its an exciting time here!

We are expanding what we can offer so that your little ones can be cared for in the very best environment, a trusted environment for over 50 years. Many of our “graduates” have children and even grandchildren in our care - we are a multigenerational ministry that has helped grow many good hearts here in the Carmichael area.
